"When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I wrote down 'happy'. They told me I didn't understand the assignment,
and I told them they didn't understand life." - John Lennon
I'm a lot of things. I am a bad ass photographer, I am a great dad, I am a terrible guitar player.
I fell in love with photography after a period of working for other people, fixing super complicated shit, and then working for myself doing the same. It was good at times, but mostly sucked.
I longed for a life that was a bit more free, had a little less stress and made me really want to get up in the morning. I found it.
I was a photographer for the better part of a decade, and I was happy.
Then it got all screwed up, I ended up divorced, I had to work for someone else fixing complicated shit again and now I REALLY APPRECIATE how wonderful being a full time photographer is.
Learning that once is great, learning it twice is humbling, at least, and also drives me to be the best that I can be, to do the best work of anyone else out there, to stop at nothing to make my clients happy, because I am never going back.
Shoot me an email
and let me know how I can make you happier!
